It's getting hot in here....
It is actually getting freakin hot in here.....I don't know the official temperature right now, but I do know that since the sun has gone down, the temperature has not! Plus, even if it did, because of the fires that are raging to the north of the city, we can't open the windows to let any of it in! It smells like all of LA has gone camping....not to mention all of the ash that is in the air and subsequently in my house and up my nose.
Oh, and those reports of old polluted warehouses going up in flames does nothing to calm the nerves about the air quality! The last time I checked, 'burning and scattering the ashes' was not one of the 'safe' ways to get rid of toxic waste.
Anyway, had an audition today where I had to play an Indian Guru who tries to get into girl's pants by pretending to feel the heat of their 'chakras' by pressing up against them. The audition went as well as it could. The spot would be regional only, meaning it would only play in one region, and seeing as it was for a Nevada Power company, I am going to take an educated guess and say that the region would be Nevada. I know...I'm going out on a limb with that one. I am hesitant as to proclaiming how well the audition went, only because of the variety of people they had called in for the guru. There were fat guys, skinny guys, bald guys, red heads even (who would all at the end of the commercial be revealed as 'just being Kevin from Vegas', and not 'Master Babshi' all powerful guru.)...it is easier for me to judge when I am looking at ten versions of me around the waiting room, rather than a broad mix....but then again it is also easier for me to say 'oh they went with the redhead for a funnier reveal' than 'oh , I must not have been as good' if we had all looked the same.
Ok...I need to go and ring my shirt out....I hope I don't drowned in my sweat tonight as I sleep!

No...just bottle up as much clean air and water that you can from there that the airline will allow you to carry in your suitcase.
